The Looking Glass
The Looking Glass is Central Regional's online literary magazine. It features memoirs/vignettes, novels, poetry, short stories, and comics written by the students at Central Regional High School.
How can I submit my work?
To submit your work, please email a Google doc to Ms. Wilfrid. Be sure to include the following items in your email:
Your name, grade, and homeroom
The title of your piece
Attach your piece to the email; make sure that you have included the title and how you want your name to appear in The Looking Glass
Please make sure that your writing is appropriate for a school setting. We will not publish any work that contains foul or inappropriate language or content.
Writing Prompts
Sometimes, knowing what to write can be hard. So having ideas is always helpful to any writer. In the drop downs below, you can find a few different types of prompts.
Monthly Writing Prompts are decided by the Writing Club and/or Looking Glass members and updated every month, usually based around holidays or seasons.
Student Submitted Prompts are prompts created by student writers for student writers, and can be submitted by anyone at any time. They'll always stay on the site.
If you use a prompt to write something that you would like to have published here, please follow the directions for submitting your work!
