Heartfelt Thanks for a Safe Graduation Celebration
Dear Administration/Police/EMS/All Involved,
While we celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2025, as Board President, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you who played a vital role in ensuring that this milestone event was both memorable and safe, especially during this extreme heatwave.
Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to our community did not go unnoticed. From the meticulous planning and coordination to the presence of our first responders, it is clear that the safety and well-being of our graduates and their families were your top priorities.
Thank you for your vigilance and care, which allowed us to focus on the joy of this special occasion. Your efforts made a lasting impact, and we are deeply appreciative of your service.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025, and thank you once again for all that you do!
Warm regards,
Lou Tuminaro
Central Regional School Board President

Summer is here, but our incoming freshmen are excited to get a head start on their first year of high school! CRHS hosted an “Activities Rush” to showcase the various clubs, activities and sports teams available to our newest students come next fall. We can’t wait to see you #SoarTogether in the 25-26 school year!

Three outstanding CRHS seniors were recognized for their hard work at the 37th Annual Ocean County Superintendents’ Roundtable Student Recognition Breakfast. Valedictorian Brayden Cimorelli, Salutatorian Monica Avalishvilli and high-achieving student Angelina Forney were honored for their academic accomplishments and Brayden also received two scholarships from the county as the top student. Congratulations to our Golden Eagle scholars! #NoPlaceLikeCentral

Our CRHS musicians struck up the band in early June with the new percussion ensemble representing Ocean County at the NJ State Teen Arts Festival. The band then visited CRMS to meet some future bandmates before ending the week with Symphonic Band earning a Superior rating in the Music at the Parks competition! #NoPlaceLikeCentral

Breakfast is often called the most important meal of the day, and our Digital Media and Art Academy seniors ate in style this morning! The CRHS administration held a special breakfast for these talented students to celebrate their accomplishments throughout their time at the academy. #GoldenEaglesSoarTogether

For members of the girls’ golf team, last week’s field trip to the ShopRite LPGA Classic in Galloway, NJ was like hitting a hole in one! Our student-athletes got the chance to see local and national legends along the course including Lauren Hartlage, Natalie Gulbis and Tripp Rodgers. Students learned from watching the pros for one unforgettable day. #NoPlaceLikeCentral

Recently, CRHS students toured the Museum of Broadway for a lesson in theater history, learning about the different careers and options in the business. They also got to see the Broadway production of “Operation Mincemeat,” based on the real strategy employed by the British during World War II! #TheresNoPlaceLikeCentral

Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Central Regional School District will be offering Sports Physical Examinations on June 3rd and June 9th at the High School gymnasium. All students enrolling for the 25-’26 school year within the Central Regional School District will be eligible to sign up for a free sports physical examination. The sports physical examination will be by appointment only from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, as there are limited numbers of students per session.
Parents/Guardians will have to sign up their child/children. If you have multiple children within the district, you will have to register each child separately. You will click on this Scheduling Sports Physical Link and select a date and time for each physical. This link is active to schedule your appointment. When a day or time slot is full, it will no longer show as an option.
Physical packets can be accessed ahead of time within the High School Athletics page, Central Regional School District Central Regional Athletics Website, or on the Central Regional FamilyID Website. Please fill out your portion of the packet and bring the completed packet(s) to your child's/children’s appointment(s).
* We encourage you to take your child to their family physician for their sports physical but if unable, the free physicals are available for your child.
*All students will also have to be registered on Family ID and have a valid sports physical on file in the Nurse’s Office prior to them participating in Summer workouts and/or the Fall Season.
**A Parent or Guardian of any student that is not 18 years of age or older is asked to accompany their child to the sports physical appointment.
Sincerely,
John Scran
Central Regional School District
Athletic Director

A letter from the athletic office will be emailed out on Monday, May 12th, at 10:30 am with the link for registration for the free physical examinations. At this time, you will have access to select a time slot if you choose to utilize the school's free sports physical examination.
